WaterWalk is about coming together to support Cancer Research UK, however more importantly it is about showing support, rememberance and celebration. Every year people we know, love and care about are diagnosed with cancer and sadly some of those say goodbye to loved ones as a result of this disease. However thankfully there are thousands of people who survive cancer and live long and healthy lives. We want to give people the chance to remember, celebrate and support each other, we do this through messages of hope. We offer you the chance to have a message released in to the Lowestoft sky at the end of the WaterWalk event, you can write what you would like, you can use it to be thankful for yourself or someone you know overcoming cancer, you can use it to be supportive to someone who is battling cancer, or you can write a personal message to someone you have lost to cancer, the choice is yours. We ask people to come together, take a bit of time to think about the event and why we are here and tastefully release hundreds of environmentally friendly balloons in to the sky. This is a moment of reflection for all of us and one that we have found rewarding, emotional and uplifting. Anyone can buy a message or messages and 100% of the money made will go to Cancer Research UK.
